What are your beliefs about smoking?

Your beliefs and negative self talk reinforce your self-medicating behavior of still smoking.
Every time you say “I need a cigarette”   "It’s too hard to stop smoking” “I just don't think I’m strong enough to stop” you are reinforcing those thoughts and feelings. Programming your mind and body to crave cigarettes. Your subconscious mind doesn’t know the difference between your imagination and what we call reality, the subconscious experiences them both as real.
So what do I need to do to change this?  Self-take yourself in the positive.  " I am stopping smoking, I can stop smoking, I am strong enough to stop, I am no longer a smoker, I want  a healthy body, I need to breathe well, I like how fresh my clothes and car smell, etc....
Putting this type of positive spin on your thoughts and self-talk will make all the difference in the world. It 's like an attitude changer! It creates more self-confidence! And this works for everything in our lives.  It's wonderful to change your mood by just changing how you think about something. You CAN stop smoking!
Have you experienced this?  Care to share?
